The idea was to put stripes on the car, similar to this one...

Here's the finished image...

Here's how it was done...

A new layer was created and a simple black and white vertical stripe was drawn.

A copy of this layer was made and the layers labelled stripe up and stripe down.

Both layers had Transform > Perspective applied to make one thicker at the bottom than at the top and vice versa.

Both layers were then rotated so they would roughly line up with the final position.

Both layers had meshes applied and distorted to fit the contours of the car - Transform > Warp.

The warp tool cannot have extra control points inserted so each part was warped separately by selecting each part individually using the rectangular selection tool.
You have to be careful not to warp the outside edge as they should stay where they are so they do not become misaligned with the rest of the stripe.

Once the warping was done any part of the stripes crossing the window or outside of the vehicle was removed using the Eraser tool.

A grey brush, with limited opacity and flow was used to add the shadows and highlights where they were needed.

Someone made a much better job of this image than I did (in fact I voted them best answer) ....

Someone else

They did it by using the pen tools to make vector masked fill layers and made two black fill layers, one set to colour above the one set to luminance, then the white layers are just solid white.
