Original and altered images
There are several ways of doing this, you can simply copy and paste parts of
one picture over another or use the clone tool, which more or less does the same
thing.
There are other tools that can help blur the edges (literally) of what you did.
For example when you copy and paste you can feather the edges (Select > Refine
Edge or Select > Modify), you can use the erase tool to remove part of the
foreground, you can use the brush or pencil tool to recolor parts of the image.
To help cover up the obvious artifacts when you use the clone tool you can copy
random parts of a similar image over the top.
