Ray's Test Page - Tables and Images

This page was written in response to a problem a 250Free user had where an image wouldn't show in a table. The original image height was 250 but putting this caused the image not to show, changing the image height to 249 solved the problem.

It may be something to do with the image inside a table and the size of both.

Here's a table and image using the dimensions that the user had (using my own images)...

In preview in FrontPage, at least, everything appeared as it should.

Here's the same table with one of the image height's changed to 249...

In preview everything looks normal as well.

Now for some more images and tables

1) Table cells are bigger than the image they contain...

Table cells each 200 x 200, images 150 x 150.

2) Table cells are the same size as the image they contain...

Table cells each 200 x 200, images 200 x 200

3) Table cells are smaller than the image they contain...

Table cells each 200 x 200, images 300 x 300

Further information revealed that the user was having problems with images ay 300 x 250. so...

1) Table cells are bigger than the image they contain...

Table cells each 350 x 300, images 300 x 250.

2) Table cells are the same size as the image they contain...

Table cells each 300 x 250, images 300 x 250

3) Table cells are smaller than the image they contain...

Table cells each 250 x 200, images 300 x 250
