The Memorial Stadium was built in 1924, in memory of the "boys who served in the World War." It was built on the site of the former fairgrounds and four-cornered race track on East Wabash Avenue. It was leased to Indiana State University in 1966.

This is not a postcard but a cabinet card, because of the double gold rules and sepia tone of the photograph I think this was made in the late 19th century.

The motel is virtually unchanged but in 2007 changed it's name to the Regency Inn and Suites.
