Postcards of Terre Haute - Historical Collectors Series

Art Manufacturing Panoramic Set

This set of postcards were published by the Art Manufacturing Company of Zanesville Ohio. Originally based in Amelia, Ohio this company operated between 1908 and 1915. They published a wide variety of postcards types including color and black & white views, greeting and holiday cards, and political subjects. Some were made in a small panoramic format and many cards were printed with gold borders. They eventually built a new factory in Zanesville, Ohio.

The series of cards illustrated below are the panoramic type and are 6.5" x 2.25" rather than the more usual 5.25" x 3.25" size. They have a printed number and the text "The Art Mfg. Co., Zanesville, O."
