Deming School was designed by J. G. Vrydagh, built by John A. Schimacher Company and named after Demas Deming. Located on the corner of North Sixteen Street and Eighth Avenue it opened in 1906. It remained in use until November 1978, when the new Deming School at 1750 Eighth Avenue opened. Notice the misspelling of Deming on the postcards.
