A number of excursions are planned which individuals can choose to participate in. Among them...
- Metro Tour: Our Excursion guests will be divided into small groups of three to five and will be escorted by our
young English-speaking tourist caretakers to see the world’s most beautiful subway system and crowds of ordinary
Russians going about their daily business.
- Religious Freedom Explosion: Visit the Church Service of your choice (Orthodox, Catholic, Protestant, Jewish,
Muslim, and many others) in small groups escorted by our specially selected volunteer tourist caregivers.

- Visit Engineering and Science Colleges of your choice (e.g. Moscow Aviation Institute, home of the Russian
astronauts, etc.) escorted by volunteer English-speaking student guides. Also available some Art, Music,
Theater & Sports colleges.
- The Theater Scene: More than 300 Theater Choices in the world’s greatest Theater City (ballet, opera,
Vaudeville, Popular Music, Experimental Puppet, Animal, and Circus events)
- Shopping Venues old and new from old time wholesale and retail markets gathering traders from all over Russia
and the world—Turkey, Italy, Poland, India, Viet Nam, China, etc.: join a small escorted group going to explore one
of the many kinds of markets. shopping centers, or malls: farmers’ produce, meat, cheese, and home canning markets,
garden supplies market, the Bird Market (pets, fish snakes, etc) , the Radio Market (electronics, CDs, DVDs,
computer programs) , Auto parts market; "Stuff" [veshchevye] markets (clothes, shoes, suits, headwear);
Vernisage, a gigantic specialized souvenir market; the newest supermarkets and gigantic malls with international
brand stores, Universal Department stores, GUM, the world’s oldest mall on Red Square. See how Russians spend their
shopping dollars.
- Outside and inside the Walls of the Kremlin Tour—Red Square, St Basils Cathedral, Lenin’s Tomb, Alexander’s
Garden, Historical buildings inside the walls, Optional: Treasury Museum or Diamond Galleries.
- Russian-style Cook-out at the Silver Grove (Serebranny Bor) a forested, luxury island resort in the Moscow
River north of Moscow. Traditional shashlik (shishkabob slowly roasted over coals with all the traditional tasty
side dishes. We will share with our young tourist caregivers and new friends.
- Palaces and Mansions Tour: Huge choice of visiting restored
palaces of the Tsars and their friends. We will also drive through some of the neighborhoods of conspicuous consumption that have sprung up since the fall of
communism.
- The Art and Museum Scene. There are so many world class museums that we could not possibly show them all. So we
will arrange individualized escorted breakaway groups to treat you to exactly what you want to see.
- What about dinner? Moscow and St. Petersburg have variety of ethnic and exotic theme restaurants. Not everyone
will want to try a Gypsy restaurant or an Uzbek restaurant, or an Indian one. But everyone can satisfy his or her
culinary wishes with our flexible breakaway groups.
- Do you want to sit in a park and play chess? Or ride a rollercoaster? Or visit a monastery? We will probably
able to accommodate you.
