This tradecard, stamped in Terre Haute on October 19th, 1897, is a quote for No. 1 Timothy Hay at $12.90 per ton, No. 2 Timothy Hay at $11.90 per ton and Timothy Hay and Clover at $11.50 per ton

This tradecard, stamped in Terre Haute on June 15th, 1898, is a quote for No. 1 Timothy Hay at $13.50 per ton and Timothy Hay and Clover at $12.00 per ton.
H. A. Mottier & Co. were located at Rooms 1 and 2 of the McKeen Block and sold hay by the railway car load.
Harry Mottier also owned Sunny Brook farm near Terre Haute where he raised Holstein cattle, Duroc hogs, Clydesdale horses, mules and Bantams. He also grew alfalfa, corn, oats and wheat.
Timothy Hay is hay made from Timothy Grass (Phleum pratense).
