St. Joseph Church
Terre Haute, Ind.
Founded in 1837, St. Joseph's church was Terre Haute's first Catholic church. The first St. Joseph's on the west side of Fifth Street between Ohio and Walnut Streets was made of wood and was replaced by this brick church in 1912. It was designed by Jupiter G. Vrydagh and is now the home of St. Joseph's University Parish.
