One of this shop's slogans was "You won't feel sheepish in Wolf's clothing". Volume 29 of the semi-monthly Men's Wear, published in 1910 has this to say about Carl Wolf Inc. - "Terre Haute, Ind.—Carl Wolf Leases New Wabash Avenue Location.—Carl Wolf, clothing and furnishings, 423 Wabash avenue, has leased for five years the store at 629 Wabash avenue. The store will be extended south to the alley, a new front put in and the room remodeled for occupancy some time in June or July." (Source: Google Books)
