In the northwest of Missouri there is conglomeration of towns and cities which include Kansas City, Independence, Overland Park, Lee's Summit and Gladstone. The Bristol in Missouri is a subdivision in northwest Independence. With a population of somewhere between 1,500 and 2,000 the subdivision is several times bigger than some of the smaller Bristols in the United States.
