Schotts? Home, Hamilton, Ohio
This postcard, posted in Oxford, Ohio on April 24th, 1913, has just the printed text #58. The actual writing is interesting...
Just a little idea of the damage at Hamilton can be gotten from this view. A twenty thousand dollar house which was just new. Two people were swept from this house and lost. Even those of us who were so near [Oxford is around 14 miles northwest of Hamilton] had no idea of the suffering. It was the worst thing this part of the country ever saw, and we hear a thrilling experience every day.
