The Trails
You can tell where the snow rollers began their travels and how they grew by the trails they leave behind them. They start at the narrow end of the "V" shaped trail and as they roll, get broader and bigger.
Depending on when the snow rollers were formed, not only do they change course, but some actually seem to run in a different direction to the others, even they may be only feet away
The snow needn't be very deep to form these rollers. The ones above were in a car park, just off of 3rd Street
These snow rollers have been blown uphill into Fairbanks Park from the banks of the Wabash River
