The Model
Miller-Parrott Baking Company
This postcard, posted in Terre Haute on March 10th, 1919. The back of the postcard is an appointment for S. S. McKibbon representing the Miller-Parrott Baking Company, Evansville, Indiana to meet C. H. Hayes of Blanford, Indiana on Friday, 14th March, 1919 with a full line of samples.
The Miller-Parrott Baking Company operated in Terre Haute between 1880 and 1958. In 1914, the company moved from it's old premises at Dowling Hall to its purpose built premises at 1450 Wabash Avenue and moved from its old location in Dowling Hall. The building was later occupied by Eastern Express Inc., American Tredex and Patterson Equipment. In 1990, Herbert Patterson donated the building to the Light House Mission that stil occupies the building.
